The project architect, Edward L. Varney incorporated intelligent, minimalist design with some of Wright’s signature elements in creating this Arizona landmark.

Over the years Hotel Valley Ho was the resting spot for Hollywood stars visiting Arizona including Humphrey Bogart, Marilyn Monroe, Zsa Zsa Gabor, Janet Leigh and Tony Curtis. The hotel also was the location for teenage heartthrobs Robert Wagner and Natalie Woods’ 1957 wedding reception.

Hotel Valley Ho was saved from the wrecking ball in 2003, and now stands as a landmark structure in downtown Scottsdale. The 45 min-1 hour walks will be available on Tuesdays and Saturdays.
